Hello and welcome to the Balance Quest. Your job will be to explore algebra through various roles and pan-balance examples. First as a special treat, we've filmed two pan balance examples so that you will get an idea of what you will be creating. In your group, view each video and see if you can solve the problem.

Next, each group member must choose one of the following roles: teacher, mathematician, or historian. In your individual roles, you will play games and learn about algebra. Once you are ready, you may click on the role you have chosen and begin.

 

TEACHER
